Art Sunday: Peter Callesen

White Hand, 2007

Down the River, 2005

Down the River, detail

Bridge Over Troubled Water, 2005

The End of the Road, 2010

These brilliant paper sculptures by Peter Callesen are intricate and worthy of their own novelizations. He manipulates a common flat coarse object, paper, and creates worlds in three dimensions. There's not much I can say that could fully describe his work, so I'll let the sculptures speak for themselves.  Head over to the artist's website to see more.

    1. I have no idea. Maybe he's a pro with the exacto knife!
